Celebrating 100 Years with The Wigwam

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of The Wigwam. The opinions and text are all mine.

I was recently invited to The Wigwam in Arizona to celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of its Organizational House, the first building on the site that is still intact today. The resort was established by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company executives as a place to oversee their cotton ranching business, and it has managed to keep so much of its history over the past 100 years, including original buildings, decor, and even windows in the pattern of vintage Goodyear tire treads.

Our first night at the resort was incredible: cocktail hour, followed by an intimately lit dinner in the Trellis garden, where we had full view of an amazing Arizona sunset.

The next morning, we headed out at 7AM to hike at the nearby White Tank Mountain Regional Park. It takes 75-100 years for a saguaro cactus to grow its first arm, and the size of some of the cacti were so impressive!

Afterward, we had lunch a the spa, and I got a long, relaxing facial!

Later in the day, we played a demo of FootGolf (SURPRISINGLY more fun than I thought it'd be!) and then went to a beer and appetizer tasting at Red's Bar & Grill right off the golf course. We ended the night with live music by the lobby and perfect evening weather.

I loved that we had plenty of downtime to relax and enjoy the entire resort. I spent some days walking around and explored every nook and cranny of the resort. I actually really love the original Organizational House. It's so charming and looks just as it did 100 years ago!

One of my favorite experiences was the open kitchen cooking demo, where we got to watch the chef cook some dishes from the Litchfield menu. Everything was sooo delicious, and we had to hold back on eating because our actual dinner at Litchfield's was shortly after. We got to try dumplings, lamb, carrot soup, all paired with different cocktails. It was definitely the culinary highlight of the trip! I love that they emphasize farm-to-table and even have their own herb garden for ingredients right outside.

Our last morning, we had a big brunch, complete with fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes... and pork belly! I went back to take a long nap before heading back to Texas. Although we did so much at the resort, I left feeling completely refreshed!

If you're looking for a resort full of history, golf, tennis, multiple pools (even water slides!), live music, and SO much more, this is the place to be! It's very family friendly too! I loved hearing how it's a favorite among locals! To celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the first building on their property, The Wigwam is offering a Centennial Thank You Package for a two-night stay in an Adobe Traditional Room and $100 resort credit per stay!

Spring Training With Zappos x The North Face

I've teamed up with my friends at Zappos to try out The North Face line for my spring training!

Hello spring and beautiful weather! It's finally warm enough to run outside, and I've been doing just that with some new athletic clothes from The North Face

I've always loved how fast Zappos ships out their items! They also ship free and give you 365 days to return any items you don't like! And the fact that they have such a large range of styles with amazing customer service makes it the perfect place to shop for someone with a busy and active lifestyle.

As I mentioned before, I'm head-to-toe in The North Face gear that I ordered from Zappos.com! And I LOVED how comfortable everything was. Plus, everything had such a flattering fit that I felt really good in my gear! The Perfect Core High-Rise Tights give your core extra support, so you feel put-together and secure, whether it's yoga, running, or lifting.

The Versitas Fearless Reversible Bra feels great too, and the Afterburn Tank Top in Bristol Blue Heather is the perfect top to show off the cute racerback! The top is also light and airy!

The Ultra Cardiac II trail-running shoes are also very breathable and give great support! Let's be honest, this photoshoot involved lots of jumping, multiple times. I felt like I landed so softly every time! Despite landing my knee into a rock that one outtake.... But anyway.

Fans of Lucy can also rejoice because now that Lucy has joined The North Face, you’ll find their fit expertise and favorite styles under The North Face brand!

Watters Visit With My Bridesmaids

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Watters. The opinions and text are all mine.

watters

I'm so happy to announce that I'm collaborating with Watters for my wedding! On Monday, all 6 of my bridesmaids and I visited the Watters headquarters in Dallas for bridesmaids dress fittings! We were welcomed with champagne and cookies, but best of all... we got to meet the CEO herself, Vatana Watters, and the entire Watters design team! It was such an honor, and we were all so thrilled! I'm truly so grateful that Watters is sponsoring all of my girls' dresses because their selections are ALL so amazing! We got to pick from all 3 of their collections: Watters, Wtoo, and Willowby. Nothing but the best for MY girls ;) The experience of being there as everyone tried on selections was one of the best moments of the year!

Sydney at Watters helped the girls try on dresses, recommending styles and colors to us the entire time. She was so patient with us, even though I think we asked the same questions multiple times! We couldn't have done it without her! I originally wanted all navy blue dresses for my bridesmaids, but I thought it would be fun to have different variations of blue. I also wanted my bridesmaids to be able to wear what they thought looked best on them, so I told every person to pick a dress that they liked.

What we all love about Watters is that the bridesmaids dresses don't look like bridesmaids dresses... they're all beautiful pieces that can stand on their own! I was fine if some girls ended up picking the same dresses, but I'm so happy that everyone ended up choosing a unique piece!

The beginning was a bit hectic because not every dress style came in the same kind of blue, and I wanted to be sure there were at least enough different blues to alternate colors. Sydney came up with a game plan to decide on the colors once everyone chose their dress style.

Genius!

Genius!

After everything was picked out, the girls got their measurements taken, and we were all done! It was such a fun experience, and I'm so happy with what everyone chose! As you can see above, we went with half Navy Blue and half French Blue. Sydney was sweet enough to put together how it would look. Are you ready....

AHH! It was better than I could have imagined! I cannot wait until my girls get their dresses. They're going to look so beautiful standing beside me on my wedding day!
