Yesterday, I got to shoot Chi and Tony's engagement portraits at the Dallas Arboretum. It was windy, but fortunately it was a comfortable 70°! In December! It was such great timing because the day before was FREEZING. I'm so happy I got to meet and shoot this lovely couple on such a great day. Enjoy!

Demeree recently reached out to me for a family portrait session, and I was so excited to get back into shooting for others! We met at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve for some golden hour light. It was cloudy all day but happened to be sunny just as we needed it :)
It was my second time ever taking portraits with a kid, but he was so well-behaved and a dream to work with! Look at those BALLOONS!
I also learned a lot of tips that I will need to try myself in the future... like bringing along my sister to make my kid laugh for photos (so grateful for Demeree's brother!). Many thanks to Demeree and her family for making this a quick and easy photoshoot!
Over the past few weeks, I've shared my lucy indiGO joggers - the comfiest pair of pants I own! They're fashionable yet practical. The moisture-wicking and breathable fabric also make these pants great for fitness-related activities! I took mine out for a trail walk around the Design District.
