I don’t often shoot weddings, but I do take on small, intimate ones from time to time. When my old high school acquaintance Lan reached out to me to shoot hers, I was so excited! What started as a small wedding became even more intimate due to COVID, but it didn’t damper anyone’s spirits at all. It was a beautiful day! I loved the all black theme (also my favorite color — they definitely chose the right photographer), including their rings, cake, and guest attire. Congratulations, Lan and Jeremy!

Everlane: The Basics

A few days before I left for my Japan trip, I received an Everlane Basics kit, including their day shoe, denim, underwear, and tee. When I travel, I try to be as easy and comfortable as possible, even if it means sacrificing fashion. As soon as I tried everything on, I knew I had to take them to to Japan with me because everything felt SO good. Total stylish outfits packed for my trip: 1.

I got the Day Boot in black, and they’re easily the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. The leather is so soft and didn’t require any breaking in. The thicker heel makes them really easy to walk in, and I love the sleek silhouette.

I also got the Easy Raglan Tee in cider. I love the oversized fit! I got mine in small. It’s long enough to be easily tucked.

The DENIM! I got the Authentic Stretch High-Rise Skinny in black. They’re skinny jeans, so they definitely feel tight, but they give so much stretch. I already know denim + black boot combo is going to be on repeat.

And the UNDERWEAR! Wow, the comfort of this soft, double-layered Supima cotton is unmatched. I’m wearing the tank bra and thong in pale pink. The bra has no padding or push and is simple and stylish. The thong is extremely lightweight and has a barely there feel.
