I’ve partnered with Riviera Spa to bring you this post. All opinions remain my own.

RIVIERA SPA DALLAS

4514 TRAVIS ST #105, DALLAS, TX 75205

I recently had the honor of trying out a trio premier service at Riviera Spa Dallas! The services included a mani/pedi combo, massage, and facial. It was such a luxurious experience, and their staff treats you so well! I always felt attended to.

When I first arrived at the Travis Walk complex where they’re located, there was barely any street parking. Fortunately, there's free garage parking if you are a visitor at any of the Travis Walk shops. From there, you can take the elevator or stairs up to Riviera Spa. When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces and your choice of water, wine, champagne, or tea. If you need to wait for your appointment, they take you back to the relaxation room with comfortable chairs and couches. It's quite dark back there, but it really helps you wind down.

Ultimate Pedicure / Ultimate Manicure

I went in for a mani/pedi combo, and it was perfect timing because they were offering their monthly special: Lavender Champagne Pedicure. The soak, foot masque, and massage was sooo good, and, of course, they offered their signature lavender champagne during the service. Definitely check out what monthly specials they have going on!

As for the manicure - wow, I'm SO in love with the design of my nails! I showed the nail technician a concept I wanted, and she took it from there even though she didn't normally do designs. She also took the time to carefully remove my previous gel manicure instead of hastily scraping the top layer of my nails. Another thing I loved is that she noticed I was cold and asked someone to grab a blanket for me! Even their huge fuzzy blankets felt luxurious.

Signature Wellness Massage

My massage was scheduled on a Monday, which is the perfect way to cure the Monday blues. The masseuse made sure I was comfortable by asking about how much pressure I like and whether I wanted a heating pad. The table also heats up as well! We could also choose our lotion scent. Out of lavender, eucalyptus, and almond, I chose eucalyptus for a fresh smell! Afterward, as with every service, I was offered another beverage of my choice. Super relaxing!

Eminence Organic Facial

I had no idea facials could be so therapeutic. My face was lathered with creams, exfoliants, and hot towels. There's also a mini-massage for your scalp, back, and arms. Ooooh I felt so refreshed! And I love that the facial is very specific to any skin concerns you have and what the esthetician notices about you. He gave me very good feedback on my skin and whatever concerns I had. At the end, he also recommended products tailored to my preferences and needs. I even got to take home some sample face creams and exfoliant!

If you're looking to treat yourself at a Dallas spa, I highly recommend Riviera Spa. I was so impressed at everyone's professionalism and the extra mile they go to accommodate you.

Matcha Protein Pancakes with Vital Proteins

I've partnered with Vital Proteins to create a matcha protein pancake recipe! A lot of you may be familiar with whey protein already, but what is collagen peptide? According to Vital Proteins, "collagen peptides supply amino acids that are needed to build new collagen." It supports healthy nails, hair, skin, and helps maintain and restore the protein content of muscle. You can read more about it here!

As for the recipe, I used their Vanilla & Coconut Water Collagen Peptide and Unflavored Organic Whey Protein. Here is the ingredient list and easy step-by-step recipe:

Yields ten 4-inch pancakes

Pancake Batter:
3 eggs
1 cup almond milk
6 tbsp coconut flour
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 scoop collagen peptides
2 scoops whey protein
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp matcha powder

Toppings:
2% fat Greek yogurt
Granola
Raspberries
Honey

Directions:
1. Whisk eggs until smooth.
2. In a separate bowl, mix matcha powder, coconut flour, peptides, protein, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt.
3. Stir in eggs and almond milk until smooth.
4. Heat skillet to medium and coat with coconut oil.
5. Drop spoonfuls of batter (I made 4" pancakes) and flip after 1 minute (or until underside is lightly browned).
6. Top with Greek yogurt, granola, raspberries, and drizzle with honey.

Enjoy!

Michelob ULTRA Live ULTRA Kickoff in NYC!

As many of you may know, I'm officially a Michelob ULTRA ambassador! I'm so excited because I truly value a balanced lifestyle when it comes to staying fit and having fun, and the Michelob ULTRA brand perfectly embodies that. As an ambassador, I'll be partnering with them to bring fun fitness events, happy hours, and workout challenges to you! To start, check out this summer's Live ULTRA Series - exclusive fitness events throughout the country with food, music, and beer! And stay tuned because I will be leading one of the future events!

As for the rest of this blog post - I want to recap last week's Live ULTRA kickoff event in New York City!

I flew in late Wednesday night and got a warm Michelob welcome with a 6-pack of beer and a schedule of the next day's events. Unfortunately, I had to do some work in the morning, so I couldn't attend SoulCycle with everyone. But I DID take advantage of a weekday morning in New York, woke up early, and got a cup of cappuccino at La Colombe to start off my day.

I worked until it was time to for lunch with the rest of the ambassadors. We had some amazing food at Maman Tribeca, which is a super cute place I've been wanting to try!

We had chicken caesar salad, quinoa salad, roasted zucchini, ricotta, and kale quiche, and avocado toast. And for dessert: homemade oreos, nutella beignet, and fresh fruit skewers! It was so great meeting all of the other ambassadors for the first time and also seeing Jera again, who I had the pleasure of meeting when I last visited NYC in December!

After lunch, we went our separate ways until it was time for the kickoff event! In a few hours, we walked over to Spring Studios for some fitness and happy hour.

Mellie led the rooftop yoga workout while there was a plyometric circuit going on downstairs. It was super chilly on the rooftop, but a great workout is always worth it!

Afterward, we were all served Michelob ULTRA and light bites! It was a beautiful and fun day!

And of course, I couldn't be happier to share these moments with my Dallas fitness partner Mai Lyn!

Until next time, beautiful NYC...
